  • \"Sandi, Thanks so much for today! I appreciate you \"hangin\' with me\" as I narrow down our needs, tastes and desires and get better at communicating them to you. I am feeling evermore convinced that you are MY realtor and that you are hearing what we want.\"

  • What does bill AB 957 mean for a buyer of a foreclosure? The seller can no longer dictate who the closing companies will be. Nice!

A River Runs Through It 12768 Centerville Road Chico CA 95928

If you’ve been waiting for an affordable Butte Creek Canyon property, here’s your chance to own a piece of history!

This mid 1960’s three bedroom, two bath home is nestled into a very private location that makes you feel as though you’ve let it all behind… yet you are only miles from downtown Chico CA!

Featuring 262 feet of gorgeous Butte Creek frontage to enjoy year round: kayaking, tubing, fly fishing, hiking and sunbathing.  The kids will never forget prospecting for gold on those lazy summer days!

The secluded, lush lot is a gardener’s dream.  Walk the meandering paths through the almost two acres of property enjoying all that the canyon has to offer.  There’s a lot of Butte Creek local history to enjoy as there is an old, one room schoolhouse, museum and other interesting historical landmarks like the Honey Run Covered Bridge  just  up the road.

The neat-as-a-pin home is move-in ready with fresh new paint, appliances, energy efficient windows, glass doors, and flooring.   Step out of the Master bedroom and walk down the hillside stairs right into the creek.  This house has three very private patios all with creek views, so you can enjoy some quiet time even when others are home.   The best part?  A  wall of majestic windows in the living room brings the outdoors in.  Watch the salmon run while sitting by a warm fire! The expansive deck is perfect for viewing the dramatic fall colors and wildlife.

    Sandi,
    What a beautiful location!

  2. SandiNo Gravatar

Thanks for stopping, Mike. The location is breathtaking!

  3. chuckNo Gravatar

Looks like a good place to raise children
or for an empty nester to retire and do a little FLY FISHING. AWESOME LOCATION, CHUCK

  4. SandiNo Gravatar

You’re absolutely right, Chuck. I know my kids would spend the entire summer running up and down the trails, building tree forts, and playing in the water! On the other hand, there’s this noticeable peace and quiet that envelops you as soon as you step out of the car… perfect for retiring to!

I have friends that live in the Butte Creek Canyon. When we (the family) visit we always have a good time. There’s lots to do….. Fishing, hiking, tubing, kayaking, sight seeing or just relaxing and taking in the view. If my job would allow I would relocate in a heartbeat.

Beautiful pictures. Nothing beats the view!!
